After care for piercing

We use and recommend Neilmed piercing aftercare mist. This is available in the studio and online.

Your piercing will go over aftercare during your appointment and you will also receive a copy when you book, and complete your consent from in the studio.

if you are experiencing any difficulties with a piercing, fresh or healed, whether we pierced you or it was done else where, get in touch.

Your aftercare information: The short version

Wash your hands - before and after cleaning.
Spray your piercing 2x daily with your sterile saline spray, front and back.

Dry.

Dry the piercing, after cleaning, with a lint free cotton gauze or kitchen paper.
Don’t pick, turn or twist the jewellery, try to avoid touching at any time other than when cleaning.
Don’t sleep on your new piercing.
At around 6-12 weeks following your initial piercing date, your jewellery will start to feel looser. This is when we want to see you again for a check up and a downsize.
